Center of United Methodist Aid to the Community Ecumenically Concerned Helping Others (CUMAC/ECHO) is need of food and bags [paper & plastic]. Today is the last day for collecting bags and/or special offering to help CUMAC purchase food. Together we can feed those most in need in our communities. Special Church Conference will take place on Sunday, September 12 at the Sanctuary right after the Worship Service. This special church conference is for the purpose of electing trustees for the Cherry Hill Corporation. On behalf of D.S. Vivian Rodeffer, Rev. Koh from the First Korean Church will officiate the special church conference.
Old Orchards Garage Sale will be held Saturday, Sept. 18 from 9 a.m. and Sunday Sept. 19 at 12 noon at the parsonage. We are accepting tax free donations. Receipts will be provided based upon sales prices of items with estimated values of $50 or more. For more information please see Liz Lowell.
Gateway South Resource Day will be held Friday, Sept. 24, 7p.m-9p.m. at Hope UMC in Voorhees. Rev. Bill Easum from 21 Century Strategies will be the speaker on “The Nine Steps of Unleashing Your Church”. Rev. Easum has worked with over 500 congregations. 2010 Church Conference is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 2 at 3:30 p.m. Please mark your calendar. Prior to the Church Conference there will be a “Walk through of the parsonage” at 2:00 p.m. and a “DS Meeting with SPRC” at 2:30 p.m.
